My name is Josh Wilson. There are some other “Josh Wilsons” around - specifically the Josh Wilson at www.joshwilson.com, who is not me, and the Josh Wilson at www.joshwilsonmusic.com, also not me. The first one writes about technology, and the second writes music - both of which are past-times for me.
I, however, am the Josh Wilson that makes videos. I own a company called Red Fridge Media and work as an editor for Denver Film and Digital. I also publish a book called “The Richest Man in the World,” occasionally play drums for Katey Laurel, and a myriad of other things - such as write about technology I find really useful. I’ve even been known to write music.
I’ve been doing irregular bloggish-type stuff since before there was such a thing as blogs, back in the days of GeoCities (since gobbled up by Yahoo!). When I first moved over to JoshWilson.org, I started with GeekLog, which was sort of “blah.” I tried Joomla! for a while, and it was good, but it wasn’t really a blogging system. It was more of a community building system, and while I’m all for communities and building them, it wasn’t really what my blog was doing.
So now we have the third version of JoshWilson.org based on WordPress. Yummy! We’ll see where it goes.
